Tour de Yorkshire Ride – Sunday 30 April 2017

This year’s Tour de Yorkshire includes a visit to Calderdale on the final day of the race and our Sunday ride has been designed so that we traverse part of the race route and finish in good time so that folk can then go and pick their spot to watch the riders go by. Our ride will officially finish in Queensbury where it is understood there is to be a big screen. Our ride details are as follows:-

Meet Mytholmroyd Community Centre at 8.45 hrs for 9.00 hrs start;
Coffee stop Haworth and pick up race route on Cote de Haworth;
Depart Haworth approx 11.00 hrs and ride route (including Cote de Leeming) to Queensbury (eta 12.30 hrs) RIDE ENDS.

The timings of the Race are can be found on the link below, but it is due to come through Queensbury at 14.30 hrs en route to Shibden Wall “Cote de Shibden Wall” at 14.45 hrs. Once our ride ends choices include going directly to Shibden e.g via Swales Moor Road to access the top of the climb (note, it will be absolutely heaving),  or remain in Queensbury and watch on the big screen, or go further along the route e.g Halifax, Brighouse, or whatever to see the race go through.

Timings for the race can be found here TdY Timings

All we need now is some good weather !!
