West Yorkshire Combined Authority have been consulting on their proposed Transport Strategy for the period to 2036.
I put a link to this on the website a couple of months ago and the consultation ends this Friday 21st October.
The Combined Authority have specifically sought comments on the indicators that should be used to measure performance in improving transport.
With that as background, I have sent them a response as Local Cycling Campaigner for Calderdale setting out the sort of performance indicators they should be using to measure progress in relation to increasing cycling levels, modal share (incl. getting people out of cars and walking and cycling) and improving air quality.
A copy of my response (4 pages) is attached for anyone who is interested. 161018responsetowestyorkshiretransportstrategy
